International and Local OTAs may have different dynamics therefore we differentiate the strategies according to the channels’ dynamics. The channel manager and the booking engine should be set up right. First of all, Booking engine should be user and mobile friendly. It should also require short information steps to complete the reservation. On the other hand booking engine should be compatible with metasearch engines to provide official website rates for direct booking options.Best rate should be provided on the official website. Direct booking tools are the most efficient ways of convertingthe current website traffic to sales. Website promos and updates should be done periodically according to the seasonal promotions and seasonal demand.
